A lovely quick meal for a lazy Sunday evening.
Take off any plastic/cloth wrapping from around the camembert (but leave it fully in its ‘skin’). Put it back in the box it came in and put into the oven at 200C for 15 minutes.
Once heated and thoroughly melted, remove the lid and place on a plate/board. Use a knife to hook off the top ‘skin’ revealing the yummy interior of melted cheese. Be warned, this stuff is extremely hot and extremely sticky. Handle with care! It will burn you if you spill it on yourself.
Serve with a nice loaf of crusty bread, chopped into chunks with cranberry sauce. I also accompany it with balsamic vinegar and olive oil which make an nice lighter alternative to dipping in the rich camembert
